I can admit that prior to Covid-19 I had not been taking care of myself properly. I was just beginning to make time to exercise and even then I was not as regular as I could be. With the lock-down, I had no more excuses.
Not only did I make time to exercise, but I also made time to clean my environment and meditate. My physical spaces felt lighter after the deep clean and I in turn also help lighter, filled with clarity and a feeling of safety.
Working out allowed me to feel accomplished, stronger and more flexible. And meditation, allowed me to quiet my thoughts, feed my soul and just shift my attitude about the disease from one of sheer panic, to it is all going to be ok.
It cut down on my stress levels, and allowed me to use my endorphins to further fuel good feelings in my life. So yup, I am definitely going to make it a point to keep my physical and spiritual workouts going post lock-down.
